What to Expect During Your Reiki Session

A Reiki session offers a serene and restorative experience. You'll typically lie fully clothed on a comfortable massage table, while the practitioner gently places their hands either lightly on or just above your body in a series of specific positions. These hand placements are designed to help channel healing energy, encouraging balance, relaxation, and well-being.

Each position is held for a few minutes, allowing the energy to flow where it's most needed. During the session, you may feel warmth, a gentle tingling, or simply a deep sense of calm. Many clients describe the experience as profoundly peaceful—some drift into a meditative state, and others even fall asleep.

Preparing for Your Reiki Session

Before your session begins, your practitioner will take a few moments to connect with you—discussing your intentions, wellness goals, and any areas of concern you'd like to focus on.

What to Wear
For your comfort, it's best to wear loose, breathable clothing that allows you to fully relax throughout the session. You will remain fully clothed while resting on the treatment table.
